Read Matthew 17:1-13.
This is Mt. Tabor which is mentioned
13 times in the OT and none in the NT,
but many believe this is the mountain
where Jesus was transfigured. I lean
more towards Mt. Hermon as 6 days
prior to the Transfiguration he was
at Caesarea Philippi which is at the base
of Mt. Hermon.
